The Bio
Amira El-Sayed is a former fragrance industry consultant who spent a decade working for the major Western "Big Five" perfume houses.
Despite her access to the world’s most expensive formulations, she found herself disillusioned by the "diluted luxury" of mass-market designer scents. Drawing on her heritage—her grandfather was an attar (traditional perfumer) in the Levant—she bridged the gap between Western chemistry and Eastern alchemy.
Today, she is the founder of Arabian Parfumista, where she teaches women how to deconstruct their fragrance collections and rebuild them into powerful emotional signatures.
Driven by a desire for something deeper, Amira returned to her roots. In the humid, spice-laden air of a small perfumery in a hidden alleyway, she watched an old master "orientalize" a client’s thin, floral fragrance with a single drop of aged Oud and a secret maceration technique. This wasn't just "fixing" a perfume; it was an enhancement path that added authority and momentum. She realized that the Western world had forgotten the Principles of Scent Enhancement, treating perfume as an accessory rather than the Invisible Architecture of one's identity.
